We Got it Good

Hello Everyone,

There is one thing that we need to make sure that we understand during this Thanksgiving Season and that is WE HAVE IT SO GOOD!

I Tim. 6:17 “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”

Do you remember the “your mama is so poor” jokes we said as kids? Like:
Someone said: Your mama is so poor, she goes to Kentucky Fried Chicken to lick other people’s fingers.
Someone said: Your mama so poor when I ring the doorbell she says, "DING!"
Someone said: Your mama so poor your family ate cereal with a fork to save milk.

Where did you come from? How poor were you when you were a child? What do you now have that you didn’t have?
Many of you grew up with a whole lot less than you have now.

I Tim. 6:17 “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant...."

Ride around on any given Saturday and you will see that Americans are rich!
They are rich in junk if nothing else!

WE ARE THE RICH OF THIS WORLD and we should not be arrogant about it.
Have you counted up your blessings lately?
