Honesty with my needs

Hello Everyone,
Have you been open and honest with the Lord about your financial needs? There is a lot of talk about the economy right now. Many people are living in fear. I want to remind you of what the Word says.
(Mat 6:33 NIV) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
(1 Tim 6:6-10 NIV) But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Have you been open and honest with the Lord when you feel restless (bored)?
A person’s work and profession in life is important to him. He directs a lot of his energy and creativity toward his work. His closest friends and his status in the community are usely tied solely to his work. It is the same way with stay at home moms.
When someone is unemployed, disabled, or entering retirement it is a huge adjustment. There is a lost sense of worth, unable to cope with leisure.

Pray about it and the Lord will give you things to do. With your skills and talents there are things to do in the church and in the community. What ever your hands find to do, do it with your whole heart.

(Eph 2:10 NIV) For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Are we honest with the Lord when we worry about the future? You may say that I’m Losing my energy, am I going to lose my mind, am I going to be alone, am I going to die a terrible death from some disease, what about my children, etc. Listen!

(Psa 23:4 NIV) Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

(Rom 8:38-39 NIV) For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The old song says: “Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand, but I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand”.

Be honest with the Lord pour out your heart to Him He Loves you and there is nothing you can do about it.

All For Jesus
