Our Destiny

Hello Everyone,
Last observation that we can see from David’s personal relationship with the Lord is DAVID’S DESTINY - vs. 9-11
9 They who seek my life will be destroyed; they will go down to the depths of the earth.
10 They will be given over to the sword and become food for jackals.
11 But the king will rejoice in God; all who swear by God's name will praise him, while the mouths of liars will be silenced.

First we see the Punishment of the Rebellious -- vs. 9-10

The Path of the Righteous leads Upward. The Path of the Rebellious leads Downward.David looks confidently to the defeat and destruction of his enemies
And then there is the Prosperity of the Righteous -- vs. 11
There’s a Better day coming for the children of GodThe child of God can be satisfied knowing that this is not all there is to it.I Corinthians 15:19 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”

It is in the quiet times of our devotional life that we find hope in this life and promises for the future.

Oh How He Loves Us!
