Hello Everyone,

When we think about “the small stuff” through acts of kindness we need to understand that: We serve a God who is described as being a loving God. One of the most familiar verses in the Bible—one that many of us have committed to memory—begins, For God so loved the world… (John 3:16). And in John’s first epistle he writes, God is love (4:16). Next to holiness, love is at the very core of who God is.When the word love is used in association with God, you will also find an accompanying action. Let’s look at the words of John 3:16 once again: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.God’s love is demonstrated in giving. The love of God is living and active. It is tangible and easily recognized.

When God’s love is poured out, there is no mistaking it.The God of love calls us to loving service.

Take time today and show the love of God by some type of act of kindness.

Oh How HE Loves Us!
Pastor Phil
