In these last days the thin that we need to know is God speaks to His people.1In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, - Hebrews 1:1-2a (NIV)In Old Testament times, God spoke in a variety of ways. In these last days, however, He speaks through His son, Jesus.
This was true when Jesus walked the earth; it is also true now!16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.- John 14:16-18 (NIV)13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. 16"In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me." - John 16:13-16 (NIV) God speaks by His Spirit through His Word, prayer, circumstances, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways.The key to knowing God’s voice is not a formula or method.
The key to knowing God’s voice is our investing time developing an intimate love relationship with Him.
