Hello Everyone,

Read with me Matt. 7:7-11.

7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Prayer is one of the most lacking practices in a believer’s life.
The typical believer prays before meals and when they are called on to pray.
Sometimes, we pray when things are bad.
Nevertheless, we often fail to have the attitude where we pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5.17).

pray continually NIV/ Pray without ceasing. KJV

Why is prayer not a regular part of our daily lives?
Maybe we feel that God knows anyway, so why should we pray.

Well, number one reason we should pray is that it is commanded by God.
Also, it helps us to realize our dependence on God.
And, it is only a blessing that Christians can enjoy (1 Pet. 3.12a).

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer,

Maybe we fail to understand God’s Heart for us and how He answers prayer.

And that is what I would like to share with you this week. “God’s Heart For Us”.

Oh How HE Loves Us!

Pastor Phil
