Hello Everyone,
As we are experiencing what we believe is a Divine Visitation we need to understand that there is a pressing in, an opening the door if you will.
A Divine Visitation starts with a knock or a Solicitation from God.
He does the knocking, it always starts with God.
Look at Revelation 3:20 with me:
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
We see in verses 15-18 that the church at Laodicea had become lukewarm and worldly and had excluded Jesus from its congregation.
Read with me:
15I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
Christ is on the outside of the church knocking on the door soliciting to come into His own church.
This is a request for intimate fellowship with anyone who will repent of and overcome spiritual lukewarm ness.
Lord forbid that during this time of Divine Visitation that Christ is standing on the outside looking in.
I want to encourage you today to open the door wide and believe for signs and wonders in your life.
Ever where you go declare the wonderful works of God to all and see if your God will not show up MIGHTLY! Amen!
Be praying for this weekend for the “Freedom Encounter” that we would have a true visitation of the Holy Spirit.
Oh How HE Loves Us!
Pastor Phil
