Hello Everyone, 2

If we only have the initial evidence but no empowerment, the next generation will no longer be interested in the initial evidence, which is what has happened.

But, if they see the lasting evidence-the empowerment, which performs signs and wonders among us-then they will want the initial evidence of Spirit baptism as the gateway to the ongoing evidence of a Spirit-filled life.

The question we need to ask is what we are testifying to, working in our lives?

Do we have any measure of victory?

Do we have any POWER?

Are we able to help anyone else?

Is my life changing?

Are my problems being over come?

Am I making a difference?

These are the ongoing evidence of a Spirit-Filled life.

Jesus told the Disciples that the infilling of the Holy Spirit would give them power to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

Where is your Samaria today? Do you have power to share the Good News?

The ministry of the church today is dependent on the work of the Holy Spirit. The Word tells us it is “not by might nor by power but BY MY SPIRIT saith the Lord” (Zechariah 4:6).

He told them that another purpose for them as well as us today is that we can live more consistent and overcoming lives.

Paul realized the need for the infilling of the Holy Spirit when he told the Ephesians, “Be filled--and continue being filled--with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18).

Let’s ask ourselves, “How much do I experience God’s power today for sharing the Good News with others and for living an overcoming life?”

Am I filled with His Spirit?

How would my life change if I asked for more of God’s Spirit today?

Oh How HE Loves Us!
