Hello Everyone,

Gen 41:51 says:

Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: "For God has made me forget all my toil and all my father's house." NKJV

God’s GRACE brings with it restoration and a release from the past.

Joseph was the 11th of 12 sons of Jacob, and the firstborn of Rachel.

Joseph was his father’s favorite son. His brothers hated him.

Joseph had a dream in that dream he saw his brothers and his parents bowing down before him.

He made the mistake of telling this dream to his family.

When the opportunity came his brothers sold him to some Ishmaelite’s who took him to Egypt.

But Joseph remained faithful to God even when he was put in prison unjustly.

Genesis 41:46 says that: “Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.” NKJV

This was 13 years after he was sold (Genesis 37:2).

He went from the pit of slavery to the pinnacle of the Palace.

He was appointed as the Prime Minister and given a wife.

He had 2 sons the first one he named Manasseh, which means, “to forget”- “For God hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.

What a great picture of God’s sovereign plan.

When things are unfair/unjust God will cover us with such blessings that our past hurts will be forgotten.

Oh How HE Loves Us!
