Hello Everyone,

I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all.

WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE

These two go hand and hand.
Unchecked liberty leads to anarchy and unrestrained justice leads to dictatorship.

A free and open society carries within it the seeds of its own destruction.

God is the model for both.

Perfect liberty: God sets us free, and changes our hearts from the inside out, and sends His Holy Spirit to live within us; guiding, directing, and protecting us from going too far
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." -- John 8.36
Perfect Justice: God will set all things right, solve all unsolved mysteries, and bring all things to light.
"This will take place on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Jesus Christ’s" -- Romans 2.16

FOR ALL

This pledge covers all of our citizens, and all of our guest.

No one escapes from the rights and responsibilities of being part of this country.
There is no race, creed, or sex, in the eyes of the law.

When these people that we salute this week go to work, they often put their lives out there. For people they know? People they love? No. Strangers!

"When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners." -- Romans 5.6 (NLT)
"For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die." -- Ro-mans 5.7 (NASB)
"...when we were God’s enemies..." -- Romans 5.10
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -- Romans 5.8
Again, God sets the standard and becomes the model for each of us.

Thank someone in uniform this week.
Pray for our country, its leaders, its civil servants
Submit to God’s authority in your life

Look around you, and reach out and help some-one

God was not surprised by 9/11 but He was saddened by it.
God did not cause 9/11 But He does comfort those affected by It.
God may not choose to prevent future acts of terrorism
But He will provide peace in the hearts of all those who turn to Him.

May God Bless the men and women in uniform; may God Bless each one of us; and may God SAVE America.
