Hello Everyone,

What Immanuel expects of us.

We must keep our eyes on Him.

“Looking unto Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2) Looking at the eternal not the temporal.

2 Corinthians 4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. NKJV

We must practice His presence.

Psalms 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. NKJV

We practice His presence by setting the Lord before us.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. NKJV

We must walk in His way.

Genesis 5: 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. NKJV

It does not say “God walked with Enoch,” but “Enoch walked with God”

Only those who follow the path of OBEDIANCE to His revealed will can have the blessings of “God with us.”

Joseph and Mary thought that Jesus was with them on the return journey from Jerusalem, but “found Him not” (Luke: 2:44,45).

Don’t let it ever be said that we have grown careless for the things of Christ but be sure at all times that we have “God with us”- Jesus our “Immanuel”.

The Inn keeper could have had “God with him” but he chose to send Him away Lord forbid at this Christmas Season we do like the Inn Keeper.

Make sure you invite Him in to your life.

“Jesus our Immanuel.”

Greater Things Are Still To Come!
