Hello Everyone,
Blessings of Gethsemane
There is no one that goes there and is turned back. Whosoever comes unto me, I will nowise cast away
Job 8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
John 6: 37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
There is no one that goes there who comes back empty handed, or disappointed.
Everyone that goes there comes back with answers or assurance, Jabez came back with his requested granted,
1Chr 4:10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
Jacob came back with his name changed,
Gen 32:27-28 27 The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered.
28 Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”
Jesus came back with new strength to face death.
Luke 22:43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him
And for His obedience to the will of the Father (to the point of death), He was exalted and given a name that is above every other name.
Phil 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Paul came back with new grace:
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Part of Easter is the Gethsemane experience there is always a Gethsemane to face by every man and woman. Let us remember to face ours the way Jesus faced His so that we too would overcome just as He did.
Resurrection power abides in us!
What’s in your cup? Let’s take it to Gethsemane. <><
