This is The Resurrection 1

Hello Everyone,

One writer writes, “The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the greatest feat in the annals of human history. It is the very “capstone in the arch of Christianity.” Without it, all else crumbles. When we fully comprehend the significance of resurrection, our lives will be revolutionized. Without resurrection, there is no hope. Indeed without resurrection, there would be no Christianity.”

As we said last week: “The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the two main hinges on which the door of salvation turns.”

The first hinge “Crucifixion”:

• The door swings open for freedom from sin.
• The door swings open for freedom from captivity. (Addiction, fear, grief, hopelessness, etc.)

The second hinge “Resurrection”:

• The door swings open to DESTINY! (For today! Tomorrow! And forever!)

This is the Resurrection:

· That Jesus freely gave His life that you might live.

Matthew 20:28 Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

· That the SON came and gave His life.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

· That He extended an invitation.

Mark 8:34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

· To be able to know the God of all creation who offered us peace when we knew no peace.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
