Hello Everyone,
God offered us relationship when all we knew how to do was keep and break a bunch of rules.
This is the Resurrection:
· That in His death we have come to know life.
This is the Resurrection:
- That we can freely offer our life to Him.
This is the Resurrection:
- That we have the restoration of hope.
Someone has said, “We can live forty days without food, eight days without water, four minutes without air, but only a few seconds without hope.”
So what’s the big deal about “The Resurrection?” I am glad you asked.
First of all it is a Converting Power
Man has a problem the problem is sin (we have missed the mark).
God’s Word says that mans disobedience or sin separated us from God and there was nothing we could do to change the problem.
Our works, our desire, nothing of ourselves could bring us back into relationship with God.
(NKJV) Romans 3 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(NKJV) 1 John 1 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
So, what was the solution? JESUS. He came to earth, lived a sinless life, gave His life and was resurrected all to bring me and you back into fellowship with God.
Through His resurrection, we are given the opportunity to be changed and come back to God.
Secondly it is a Conquering Power
To conquer means to subdue, to win; to overcome by force.
There was a lot that Jesus conquered and overcome on our behalf by the POWER of His Resurrection.
The Word of God declares that on the third day Jesus rose (resurrected) from the grave.
Death, hell and the grave could not hold Him, no matter how hard the enemy tried, Jesus could not be stopped.
As BELIEVERS, we must walk in the resurrection power that cannot be stopped, a conquering power.
(NKJV) Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
There is no storm, no valley, no attack, and no need, that “This Resurrection” cannot handle.
Greater Things Are Still to Come!
