His Name 3

 Hello Everyone,
Jesus became our faithful and compassionate High Priest, who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses (Hebrews 4:14, 15; 5:8).

Isaiah also saw Him as Wonderful (a supernatural Wonder), Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [Father or Author of eternity or of the universe], Prince of Peace (9:6), the Branch (11:1), the Servant (who would fully accomplish God’s work of redemption).

He appeared also as "The Angel [Messenger] of the Lord."
Coming into the New Testament we find that in eternity past and up to His incarnation He was the WORD (Greek, Logos), and He continued to be the expression and revelation of the Father, the one Mediator between God and mankind (1 Timothy 2:5).

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Eternally also He is the Alpha and Omega, the uncreated Firstborn or Heir of all creation, God the Father’s unique one and only Son; that is, God’s Son in a very special eternal relationship that exists within the Trinity.

He is also the greater Son of David, God’s Beloved Son, and the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
In His incarnation He became the express Image, the fullness of what God wanted the Image to become when He created Adam and Eve, and more because in Him we see the exact representation of the Father (Hebrews 1:3; John 14:9).

At the same time He was the I Am revealing in Himself what God is (John 6:35; 8:12; 10:9,11; 11:25; 14:6; 15:1,5).

As the Christ (Hebrew, Mashiach, "Anointed One") He is the promised anointed Prophet, Priest, and King.

He is the Dayspring from on High (Luke 1:78) and the Light of the World.

During His ministry He was recognized as Rabbi and Rabboni, honorary titles for teacher, and His disciples ("learners, students") most often called Him Master (Greek, Didaskalos, "Teacher, Schoolmaster").

Once (2 Peter 2:1) He is called by the Greek Despotes, "Supreme Lord and Master."

Often He was called Lord (Greek, Kurios) and was given that name by the Father in a new and divine sense after His exaltation back to the Father’s throne (Philippians 2:11).

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Greater Things Are Still To Come!
