Warriors or Wimps?

Hello Everyone,
In Judges 6:12 the Angel of the Lord appears before Gideon and addresses him as a Mighty Warrior. Warriors are needed today we have enough wimps we need Warriors!
“Then the Angel of the LORD appeared to him and said: ‘The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.’ ”

I have said many times here lately that we have a fatherless generation.
24 million children are living without their biological fathers in America.

Where are these men?
What on earth could be more important, need more attention, and demand more time than leading, protecting, and investing in your family?

Why are 24 million kids living without their dads? The answer is because millions of dads don’t know how to be men.

Under the leadership of Joshua, Israel had generally conquered and occupied the land of Canaan. Here in Judges it is a chaotic period in Israel’s history.
Judges 6:7-10  When the Israelites cried out to the Lord because of Midian, he sent them a prophet, who said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. I rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians. And I delivered you from the hand of all your oppressors; I drove them out before you and gave you their land. 10 I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; do not worship the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you live.’ But you have not listened to me.”
Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord continually and “there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes” Judges 21:25.
The People of Israel broke their covenant with the Lord. As a result, the Lord delivered them into the hands of different oppressors.
Why have men abandoned their homes?

For several reasons, we have abandoned God and the willingness to do the right thing.

Men have abandoned their homes because they have abandoned God’

Judges 6:10 I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; do not worship the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you live.’ But you have not listened to me.”

When we fail to recognize the God of the universe for who He is and what He has done, we are on a road that leads to FAILURE.

God proves His POWER and His WORTH time and again. Hindsight may be 20/20, but foresight is often forgetful.

When we fail to recall the greatness of God in the past and fail to recognize His Lordship in the present, we sin.
When Israel abandoned the worship of God and turned their hearts toward other gods, they abandoned their purpose as His people and forfeited their rights according to the covenant.

The Midianite persecution was not an accident or a coincidence; it was the hand of God.

What is going on in America right now is not an Accident or a Coincidence; it is the hand of God!
