Choose You 4

Hello Everyone,

The second thing that we need to come to an understanding of is WE INFLUENCE OTHERS WITH OUR CHOICE

Joshua ends his address with what has become known as one of the most powerful and courageous testimonies and witness in all of Scripture. Joshua said, “… But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

This statement is the culmination of a life lived in obedience to God and His WORD. There were times when Joshua failed. There were times when he was discouraged, but once Joshua had committed his life to God he went all the way with it.

Joshua not only influenced his OWN household but also motivated many others to serve the Lord. For bad or good, our influence always extends beyond our immediate surroundings.

Joshua 24:16-17
16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: KJV

We are challenged to go on and by deliberate, DAILY choices to follow Christ in fearless faith just as Joshua had.
It may not make us popular but it will make us powerful as the people of God.

The book of Joshua ends on a note of declaration. The people responded.
Joshua 24:24 And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. KJV
Perhaps you need to make a decision for Christ today. A decision in life and when you come to the end of your life it is the only one that will matter. I beg you not to put it off any longer.

Remember that when you are faced with a choice and you refuse to make one...that is a choice!

I urge you to not go on straddling the fence. The apostle John described a church made up of people who were neither hot nor cold (Rev 3:15).

The Lord said there “I wish you were one or the other.” But the fact that they were just lukewarm the Lord said He found nauseating.

We are living in an age when just as He has in the past God is looking for men and women of fearless faith, who will step up and step out to accomplish something great for God!

When we do this then without a shadow of doubt we can know:

Greater Things Are Still To Come!
