Little Lives 1

Hello Everyone,
Jeremiah 1:5 declares:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; ...”

On December 14 1012 a gunman opened fire in a Connecticut elementary school.
With the death toll at 26, the Newtown shooting is the second-deadliest school shooting in U.S. history.

Of the 26 victims 20 were children. It was hard for everyone to get a grasp on 20 young school children being senselessly murdered. It was almost as if people could accept adults being murdered but why 20 helpless children.

But here's another number: 50 million.  That's approximately how many have died in America since 1973 when the Supreme Court made the decision to make abortion legal, placing our official stamp of approval as a nation on the death of innocent children.

That's a really big number, and they are ALL little lives!

And just as surely as those little ones over the last 37 years awoke in heaven with Jesus, may the babies yet to come this year and in future years awake to the life here on earth God intended for them from the beginning of their life, which He placed in them at their conception!

Oh to once again make a mother’s belly a safe place where life thrives!

Sunday November 20th was Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

I'm here to say that each life that was taken in the Connecticut shooting was valuable and precious. But as great as that tragedy was, the greatest one is right under our noses, and is approved by the law of the land.

We need to pray.  Our prayers are more POWERFUL than politicians and judges.

O Lord we pray that the grave would be swallowed up in victory and death would lose its sting!

Proverbs 12:28
In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

We’re talking about babies with souls at the moment of conception…but more than that, babies who have developed physically, with beating hearts, digesting stomachs, open eyes, hearing ears…babies which since the ultrasounds have been seen recoiling in pain, desperately trying to escape their killers!
And if the way that the coroner determines a person is completely dead is by the absence of brain waves, shouldn’t the presence of brain waves prove life!?

This week’s e-votion I believe is one of the most needed messages of our time. Please feel free to forward these brief messages this coming week to all that need to be reminded of the value of human life.

Greater Things Are Still To Come!
