Got Peace? 1

Hello Everyone,

Peace is not just the absence of conflict, or hiding in seclusion, neither is it a forced tranquility from a substance.

Peace is a deep abiding “rightness” inside that is reflected on the outside in the middle of the storm.

It is the eye of the “hurricane” if you will.

Luke says it best when he writes down the account of the angel’s declaration to the shepherds in Luke 2:14.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.”

Jesus Christ is the “Prince of Peace” and for those of us who know Him find this “rightness” inside.

Paul says the “Fruit of the Spirit is PEACE.”

Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

This peace is not just found in pleasant circumstances, but it is a deep abiding tranquility in all circumstances and in all tensions.

There is a certain depth where the ocean remains calm even in the greatest storms that are on the surface.

Also there is a peace in Christ transcending troubles and this peace is “The Fruit of the Spirit”.

To reap PEACE we will need to sow seeds that will bring a harvest of PEACE.
James 3:18 Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness

Greater things are still to come!
